According to a report from Brett Martel of the Associated Press, LSU sophomore wide receiver Travin Dural was involved in a car accident Saturday night after LSU's win, injuring his head after his vehicle was hit.

Dural reportedly received several stitches to repair a deep laceration on his head, leaving his playing status for Saturday night's game versus ULM uncertain. He would need to be cleared to wear his helmet over the stitches, something that may be difficult to clear one week after receiving them.

With an average of 48.5 yards per catch, Dural currently leads the nation in that category. As LSU's leading receiver, he's caught 6 passes for 291 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Breaux Bridge native saw playing time last year as a freshmen, makings strides to become LSU's #1 wide receiver after Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry left for the NFL following their junior seasons.
