Former LSU wide receiver Trey Quinn revealed to Jim Kleinpeter of The Times Picayune last night his decision to transfer to SMU.

Quinn's transfer isn't new. He tweeted three months ago his intent to leave the Tigers for another program. The only question was where.

A high school All-American at Barbe, Quinn only caught 5 passes last year, his sophomore season.

As a freshmen in 2014, he reeled in 17 catches for 193 yards, starting 7 contests.

Quinn is the second LSU wide receiver to transfer. Junior Josh Diarse left the Tigers for TCU prior to the spring semester.

Quinn must sit out the 2016 season due to NCAA transfer rules, but will have two years of eligiblity remaining if he wants to play in 2017 and 2018.
