The 2011 NFL season is not quite over, but fans will have many memories concerning the year, especially fans of the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints have clinched a divisional championship, and are on their way to the NFC playoffs.

A victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, would clinch the first unbeaten home season in team history, and would also tie this year's Saints team with the 2009 Super Bowl squad for the most victories by a New Orleans team in a single-season, with 13.

And, of course, quarterback Drew Brees has had another fantastic season, breaking Dan Marino's single-season record for passing yards, with 5,087 yards, with still one game remaining.

From a league-wide standpoint, the offseason was thrown off-kilter, due to the lockout, but so many great, and interesting things have happened since.
