Rebels Pound Tigers, 16-3

The Ole Miss Rebels cruised to a 16-3 victory over the 16th-ranked LSU Tigers on Saturday night, evening up their three-game, weekend, SEC series, at one game apiece. Jesse Delerno, of lsusports.net, has the story, below.

Ole Miss starter David Goforth limited No. 16 LSU (19-8, 2-6 SEC) to two runs in six innings, and the Rebel bats erupted for 16 runs on 18 hits to take Game 2 of the weekend series, 16-3, Saturday night in Alex Box Stadium.

The Rebels (19-9, 4-4 SEC) recorded a nine-run seventh inning to highlight the victory.
