TMZ Sports has now released a video that shows Baltimore Ravens running back, Ray Rice, knocking his then fiancee out while in an elevator.

UPDATE: After he was cut by the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL announced that Ray Rice has been suspended "indefinitely."

UPDATE: According to ESPN, The Baltimore Ravens have terminated Ray Rice's deal hours after video of the elevator attack on his then-fiancee was released.

UPDATE: The NFL claims they had not seen this video until it was posted this morning which has reporters like ESPN's Adam Schefter very upset for leading them to believe otherwise.

If you recall, all that we initially saw was Rice dragging his fiancee out of the elevator, but now footage shows Rice striking her while inside an elevator at the Revel Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

There appears to be an altercation between the two, and when his then-fiancee, Janay, approaches him in the elevator Rice strikes her with his left hand.

Once the elevator stops, Rice drags her body out of the elevator until help arrives.

Due to this altercation, the NFL has suspended Rice for two games this season. Since then, the league has come out and noted that they failed miserably in handling this particular case.

We should note here that Ray Rice married his fiancee a month after this altercation.
