In light of the accident that claimed the life of a fan earlier this month, the Texas Rangers have announced they will raise the height of the railings at the Ballpark at Arlington.

Shannon Stone, 39, a firefighter from Brownwood, Tx., died after falling about 20 feet trying to catch a ball thrown his way by Rangers' outfielder Josh Hamilton.

The Rangers said in the statement that the railings will be the highest of any ballpark in the U. S.
