Rangers Take Over First Place In AL West – VIDEO

Below are highlights of the bottom half of the ninth inning in Tuesday night's 6-5 win by the Texas Rangers over the Houston Astros.

Mitch Moreland hit a sacrifice fly to score pinch-runner Drew Stubbs to win it for Texas.

The win moved the Rangers, who have won 27 of their last 41 games, into sole possession of first place in the American League West by one-half-game ahead of the Astros, who had been the division leader since July 28.

The win was the fifth-straight by the Rangers over the Astros, who still hold the second AL wild card lead 1½ games ahead of the Minnesota Twins.

The third game of the four-game series is scheduled for Wednesday night.
