Rangers Plan To Erect Statue Of Shannon Stone

The Texas Rangers are planning to erect a statue to honor Shannon Stone, who tragically fell to his death, at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, back on July 7.

Flags fly at half-mast for Shannon Stone, a fan who died after suffering a fall out of the stands at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on July 8, 2011 in Arlington, Texas.

Richard Durrett, of ESPNDallas.com, says the statue will also depict Stone's six-year-old son, who was with Stone when he fell over the left-centerfield rail.
