Randy Moss’ Son To Transfer To LSU

The LSU football program picked-up a big name transfer over the weekend, as tight end Thaddeus Moss, the son of former NFL receiver great Randy Moss, announced his intentions to play for the Tigers.

A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Moss played his high school football at Mallard Creek High School, where he compiled 54 receptions for 831 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior, while being ranked as the 123rd best player in the nation by Rivals.

A two-sport athlete, Moss also played basketball in high school.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Moss signed with North Carolina State out of high school, were he played in six games as a freshman in 2016, totaling 6 catches for 49 yards and one touchdown.

Moss, who visited LSU over the weekend, will have to sit out the 2017 campaign, and will have three years of eligibility remaining at LSU, beginning in 2018.
