Fans came out to the annual Ragin' Cajuns football spring game and saw current and former players in action. They also saw the son of former late great Kenyon Cotton, Timothy Cotton, who is a cancer survivor score a touchdown. Timothy got a standing ovation from the fans and the team rushed the field and picked him up and celebrated with him.

The current players were split into two teams, Red and White, and played a half of football. Jordan Davis led the red team with Dion Ray backing him up. The White team was led by Jake Arceneaux. There were glimpses of good things by both sides of the ball for both teams. There some big hits, some big time catches and runs by both teams. The red team started the scoring early with a 52 yard TD pass from Jordan Davis to Ryheem Malone to go up 7-0. The red team continued the scoring with a 6 yard touchdown run by Trey Ragas to go up 14-0. The red team continued the scoring with a 3 yard touchdown run by running back Jordan Wright. Dion Ray continued the scoring for the red team with a 3 yard touchdown run. The Red team scored 28 straight points until the White team got on the board a 24 yard touchdown pass from Jake Arceneaux to Jarrod Jackson. The alumni played a flag football game in the second half. The alumni teams included Jake Delhomme, Daniel Quave, Christian Ringo, Ladarius Green, Mykhael Quave, and current Ragin' Cajuns running back coach Michael Desormeaux as well as other former players.
