The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball games have been cancelled on Saturday night due to a lighting issue on the field the team were playing on.

Game one against Iowa, the Cajuns were trailing 2-0 heading to the top of the 5th when the umpires decided that the field of play wasn't safe to play on with the lack of lighting. Since this game didn't last 4 and a half innings it will not go down as an official game, it's simply a cancelled game.

The following game against Michigan State has also been cancelled as the issue will not be fixable tonight.

The team wraps up the Judi Garmen Classic tomorrow as they play a double-header beginning at 1:30pm against Fresno State. After that game concludes they'll take on Baylor then head back to Louisiana.
