Write this name down, Ragin' Cajuns football fans: Levi Lewis. Write it in bold and underline it. Trust me, it's a name you don't want to forget.

Lewis is the quarterback and fearless leader of an explosive Scotlandville High School offense, and he's the truth. The Hornets averaged 41.9 points per game last year, and Lewis had offers from six different colleges and interest from others like Arizona State and LSU. Of all the offers on the table, Lewis liked the opportunity the Cajuns provided the most.

Last season, Lewis racked up over 2,500 passing yards, almost collected 1,000 yards rushing (974 to be exact), and he was responsible for 31 TD's and only four interceptions. The numbers don't lie.

Cajun fans just got a reason to follow Baton Rouge area prep sports this fall. Lewis has a chance of earning MVP honors in Class 5A as a senior, so you don't want to miss out on the show he's about to put on.

In the modern era of college football, you need a quality QB to win. Lewis is as good as it gets at the high school level, so Head Coach Mark Hudspeth is breathing easier today knowing he got a huge item checked off his signing class list.

When you watch the tape on Lewis, there's a lot to get excited about...
