Shortstop Blake Trahan thinks the Ragin' Cajuns might be one of the hottest teams in the country headed into the Houston Regional.

Trahan carries himself with a lot of swagger, and after the Cajuns fought their way through the loser's bracket to claim the Sun Belt Conference Tournament he feels like they can carry that momentum into a loaded Houston Regional. Rice, Houston Baptist and the Houston Cougars are all familiar with the air out in Houston, so Trahan feels like it's them against the world.

This is most likely Trahan's last season as a Cajun. He and seniors like Evan Powell, Tyler Girouard, Greg Milhorn, Dylan Butler and Greg Davis helped support a freshman group of pitchers all year, and they find themselves in a regional in a season that most people wanted to label as a "rebuilding year."

One of the smoothest players in college baseball thinks his team could make some noise in Houston, but hear it straight from him.
