Lafayette native & UL student Sarah Montgomery is taking the race world by storm. The 20 year old is the only female Professional race car driver in Louisiana, excelling behind the wheel.

As one of the hardest working professional athletes from this area, I invited Sarah on my show to discuss her love of racing, the art of marketing yourself in a sport, her favorite track to race in the U.S., where she sees herself in 10 years, and much more.

Sarah's next race is this weekend in Houston. The Mazda MX-5 Cup takes place from Friday to Sunday at the Grand Prix of Houston, a 1.7-mile track located downtown at the NRG Park.
