The preseason USA Today/Coaches' top 25 college basketball poll was released today. The Indiana Hoosiers, who return 4 starters from last season's sweet 16 squad, are ranked #1.

No ACC teams made the top 5. The highest ranked ACC team comes from the state of North Carolina, but it isn't Duke or UNC. North Carolina State received a #6 preseason ranking. Former Alabama coach Mark Gottfried enters his second season with the Wolfpack with plenty of expectations.

Listed below is the top 25 poll, with each school's ranking and how many first place votes they received. Also listed is their record from last season, total point total based on votes, and their ranking in last season's final poll.
