PONY Baseball will crown a World Series champion in Youngsville beginning Thursday at the Youngsville Sports Complex.

Eight teams will be participating in the Mustang (10U) World Series, including the host team from BYYA (Broussard/Youngsville Youth Association).  First Round action begins Thursday with four games scheduled:

Phillipines (Asia-Pacific Zone)

Corpus Christi, TX (South Zone)

Cucapah San Luis Colorado (Mexico Zone)

Maui, HI (West Zone)
vs
Broussard-Youngsville (Host)
8:00 pm

Brownsville Texas was the runner up in the South Zone and was added when the Carribean Zone did not send a representative.

Admission for the tournament is $24 for adults and $12 for children, granting admission to all games in the four day tournament. Single game tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. The complex is located at 801 Savoy Rd., just off Chemin Metairie.
