BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — On a week of some of the best performances of the early season, five different players shared in Louisiana college football Player of the Week honors announced by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Dray Joseph of Southern threw for six touchdowns in a thrilling come-from-behind double overtime win for the Jaguars over Prairie View to get offensive honors. The panel of LSWA voters could not separate the defensive players as Daniel Cobb of Louisiana Tech, Ego Ferguson of LSU and Julius Warmsley of Tulane all shares the honor. Xavier Roberson of Southeastern Louisiana was named the special teams POW.
