Keenan Barnes is already turning into a touchdown machine for the Ragin' Cajuns, and he's only a sophomore.

At 6'3" and over 200 lbs, Barnes looks like a full grown man, but he's a youngster with a very high ceiling to hit. He's still growing as a football player and as a member of Cajun Nation on and off the field. When the team helped the Youngsville flood victims, Barnes was so busy helping his community that he almost missed the bus. He's a hard worker and a humble guy, which will only make you like him more.

In Scott Prather's weekly player profile segment, feature every week during our pregame show, Barnes talks about his first football memory. Apparently, even at the age of nine (playing with 12-year olds) he was a touchdown machine.

He had offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Memphis and other heavy hitters, but he chose the Ragin' Cajuns because it felt more like home. Get to know one of the building blocks for the future, and hear what makes Barnes tick.
