With the March deadline looming for the Indianapolis Colts to either pay quarterback Peyton Manning a $28 million bonus or cut the 4-time MVP, new details about Manning's surgically repaired neck have emerged. Don Banks of cnnsi.com is reporting that Peyton underwent an unreported 4th neck surgery sometime in the last 9 months.

It is widely believed that Manning has also developed bone spurs around his neck fusion. As a result, many in the Colts organization believe the right side of Peyton's neck will inevitably need another surgical operation. Another potential fusion procedure will mark 5 (that we know of) neck operations for the future hall of famer.
