Louisiana's 48-20 win over FIU Saturday resulted in two individual awards for Ragin' Cajun football players.

Wide receiver Harry Peoples was named Offensive Player of the Week by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association, while Brett Baer was honored for the third time this year as Sun Belt Conference Special Teams player of the week.

Peoples caught 10 passes for 151 and a touchdown Saturday night at Cajun Field.  It was the third time in his career that Peoples has caught double-digit passes and had over 100 yards receiving.  Peoples had a 78 yard touchdown catch in the third quarter.

Baer was 2-2 in field goal attempts, giving him 10 three pointers in eleven tries this year.  Baer was also 6-6 in extra points and remained perfect in PAT attempts this season.

The Cajuns celebrate homecoming this Saturday against Tulane.  Kickoff is at 4pm.
