New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans suffered a left knee contusion versus the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, making him questionable for Game 2 of their first round playoff series tomorrow night.

"When I was extending (Andre) Igoudala, he made a cut and we banged knees pretty hard," explained Evans. "I had some sharp pain in my knee and the doctors had to go look at it."

ESPN reported through sources that Evans suffered no structural damage, just a deep bone bruise.

Evans played only 12 minutes in the Pelicans 7 point loss, scoring 1 point before heading to the locker room early in the second quarter.

Will Evans be able to suit up for game 2?

"Game-time decision," stated Evans.

His head coach Monty Williams phrased it a different way.

"He's day-to-day."

The biggest determining factors will likely be pain threshold, and speed.

"If you can't run full-speed against this team (Golden State), you don't want to be out there half assing it," explained Evans.

It's a tough pill to swallow for Evans, who is playing in his first ever playoff series after 6 years in the league.

"We came this far," said Tyreke. "Hopefully, I can go out there and play with them."

Tip-off tomorrow night from Oracle Arena is set for 9:30.
