The New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons are the favorites to play in Super Bowl LI.

The two teams opened as favorites in their respective conference championship games, as Las Vegas oddsmakers released the point spreads late Sunday night.

The Patriots opened as 4.5 point favorites over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game, while the Falcons opened as 4-point favorites over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

Both teams will be playing at home.

The AFC title game will get underway at 2:05 pm (central) on Sunday, while the NFC title game is scheduled for 5:40 pm.

The Patriots, playing in their 6th-consecutive AFC Championship Game, defeated the Steelers earlier this season, 27-16, back on October 24, while the Falcons, playing in their first NFC Championship game since the 2012 season, defeated the Packers earlier this season, 33-32.

The two winners advance to Super Bowl LI, slated for Sunday, February 4, in Houston, Texas.
