May 16, 2011 The Chicago Bulls took Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals Sunday night, defeating the Miami Heat 103-82. League MVP Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 28 points. Heat forward Chris Bosh had 30 points and 9 rebounds in a losing effort. Game 2 in the Windy City is scheduled for Wednesday, with a 7:30 tip-off.
May 13, 2011 Hornets point guard Chris Paul was named to the All-NBA third team yesterday. It's the third time in his career he's made the All-NBA team. Paul was selected to the first team after the 2007-2008 season, and then made the second team the following season. If I was the only voter, CP3 would have been All-NBA second team.
May 12, 2011 LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and the Miami Heat eliminated the Boston Celtics from the NBA playoffs on Wednesday night with their 97-87 victory in Game 5. Wade led the way for Miami, finishing with 34 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. James chipped in 33 points of his own, including a series sealing 3 pointer with 40 seconds left in the game.

January 27, 2011 Chris Paul was named to his fourth straight NBA all-star team Thursday. It is the second time he has been voted by the fans as a starter. Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming, Kevin Durant, and Carmelo Anthony were named as the other Western Conferencer starters. Eastern conference all-star starters are Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, and Amar'e Stoudemire.
