LSU Crushes Northwestern State

The #2 ranked LSU Tigers whipped the Northwestern St. Demons in their home opener at Tiger Stadium Saturday night by the score of 49-3. Tiger quarterback Jarrett Lee finished 9-10 for 133 yards and a touchdown. LSU running backs Michael Ford, Spencer Ware, and Alfred Blue combined for 5 TD runs. The LSU defense allowed only 95 yards to the Demons, as Northwestern St. finished with -4 yards on the ground.
