The second week of bowl season usually features some exciting games, and this year was no exception. Many of the games this week gave us wild plays, last-second finishes, great individual performances and, in the case of the Alamo Bowl, the kind of unstoppable offense that would make Bo Jackson in Super Tecmo Bowl proud. December 16, 2011 The Los Angeles Clippers, not the Los Angeles Lakers now have former New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul on their roster, and at least one Lakers player thinks it's a conspiracy.

Warren Glover, a former NBA security official, says his superiors ignored several sets of allegations that women in the league office were being sexually harassed or discriminated against, reports The New York Times. Allegedly, Glover was fired after he spoke up about the claims, and is now suing the NBA for lost wages and damages.
December 14, 2011 LSU Tiger cornerbacks Tyrann Mathieu and Morris Claiborne both received first-team AP All-American honors, marking the first time two CBs from the same school shared first-team honors. Punter Brad Wing made first-team as well, with guard Will Blackwell was named to the second-team. Defensive End Sam Montgomery earned third-team honors.
