The New Orleans Hornets have made a three team trade that will send All-NBA point guard Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Houston Rockets would receive All-Star power forward Pau Gasol. The Hornets will receive Lamar Odom from the Lakers, PF Luis Scola, SG Kevin Martin, and PG Goran Dragic from the Rockets, and a draft pick.

Before the NFL lockout began 118 days ago, the Seattle Seahawks reportedly offered the Philadelphia Eagles a trade package that included a first-round pick in exchange for quarterback Kevin Kolb.
