Water Skier Crashes At Water Ski Championships

This is Kyle Dammeyer at the 2011 NCWSA Nationals in Baton Rough, LA at Bennettes Ski School.

Dammeyer is from Ohio state and took this horrible crash.

The announcer, after he knows Dammeyer is okay, says; "This is going on youtube, and espn1420.com!"

Okay, so he didn't say the second part, but he should have!

It was a terrible crash, but Dammeyer was/is fine.

South Carolina Win 2nd Straight National Championship

The South Carolina Gamecocks followed up their first ever NCAA baseball national championship last year with another one this year. Last night, the Gamecocks finished off their sweep of SEC rival Florida in a 5-2 victory to take home the 2011 College World Series title.

South Carolina Wins Fun Game 1 of the CWS Finals

South Carolina defeated the Florida Gators in Game 1 of the CWS finals last night by the score of 2-1. Gamecocks first baseman Christian Walker scored the game-winning run from 1rst base in the top of the 11th thanks to two throwing errors on the play by the Gators.

South Carolina finished with 13 hits in their dominant CWS victory over Virginia last night in Omaha. The Gamecocks 7-1 win over the Cavaliers was their 13th NCAA tournament win in a row, tying them with Southern Cal and LSU for most consecutive tournament victories.

The Virginia Cavaliers, and the South Carolina Gamecocks were victorious, on the second day of the College World Series, on Sunday, in Omaha, Nebraska.
