For the second straight game, the New Orleans Hornets had only 8 healthy players in uniform. It was almost enough Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, but the Lakers managed to sqeak by the scrappy Hornets 88-85. Kobe Bryant shot a paltry 3-21 from the field, missing his first 15 shots.
