Jake Delhomme Signs With Texans
Former UL quarterback great Jake Delhomme has agreed to a two-year contract with the Houston Texans.
The Texans were looking for help at the quarterback position after losing both starting quarterback Matt Schaub, and back-up Matt Leinart, to injuries.
The 36-year-old Delhomme, who is a native of Breaux Bridge, and a graduate of Teurlings Catholic, has played for the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and Cleveland Browns during his 12-year career.
Delhomme has thrown for 20,764 career yards, and 125 touchdowns.
