While Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love is a highlight reel regular, it was Hornets power forward Jason Smith (pictured above) who stole the show Saturday night in New Orleans. Smith's stat line of 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals doesn't resemble just how good Jason played. For the second straight game, the New Orleans Hornets had only 8 healthy players in uniform. It was almost enough Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, but the Lakers managed to sqeak by the scrappy Hornets 88-85. Kobe Bryant shot a paltry 3-21 from the field, missing his first 15 shots.
