The New Orleans Saints realize this, and took steps to correct what they perceived as an area that needed improvement over 2010.
The Saints traded to draft former Heisman Trophy winning running back Mark Ingram, and signed free agent running back Darren Sproles away from the San Diego Chargers, to join veteran Pierre Thomas.
