Orgeron Named Player Of The Year Finalist

UL junior outfielder Christi Orgeron has been named a finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The American Softball Association (ASA) announced its Top 25 Finalists for the 2011 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year on Wednesday, with Christi Orgeron finding her name on the list.

 

Orgeron, a junior outfielder for the Cajuns, is one of seven players on the Top 25 list that was not on the Preseason Top 50 list.  The New Orleans native is one of six juniors on the Top 25 list.
