Trevor Larnach launched a two out, two run homer in the ninth inning to cap a three run rally, lifting Oregon State past Arkansas 5-3 to set up a third and deciding game at the College World Series in Omaha, NE.

Cadyn Grenier's single scored pinch hitter Zach Clayton to tie the game before Larnach's blast.  Grenier had been given an extra chance after his foul ball to right fell between three Arkansas defenders.  Larnach then hit his team leading 19th homer of the year into the right field bullpen off reliever Matt Cronin for what proved to be the game winner.

Jake Mulholland worked around a single in the bottom of the ninth to earn the save.

Arkansas took an early 1-0 lead in the second inning when starter Bryce Fehmel uncorked a wild pitch with the bases loaded but Oregon State (54-12-1) tied it on a homer by catcher Adley Rutschman.  Oregon State took a 2-1 lead in the fifth, but left the bases loaded after a strikeout and groundout.

Arkansas (48-20) strung together four hits in the bottom of the fifth to take a 3-2 lead, a score which lasted until the ninth.

The final game will be played Thursday at 5:30 pm.
