Olin Kreutz Quits On Saints

New Orleans Saints Center Olin Kreutz has decided to leave the team because he has lost a passion for the game of football. However, Kreutz is not retiring according to his agent.

If Kreutz has lost a passion for football, why doesn’t he retire? With all the facts being reported, it sounds to me like Kreutz quit on the Saints.

Second year man Brian de la Puente will step into the starting Center role. De la Punete filled in for an injured Kreutz this season in 4 games, starting 3. New Orleans finished 3-0 in those games. They are 1-2 in games started by Kreutz.
