The Ohio St. Buckeyes are the top team in the preseason Associated Press college football poll, which was released on Sunday, the first unanimous preseason No. 1 in the poll.

Ohio St., the defending national champions, received all 61 first-place votes from the media panel, becoming the school to receive all of the first-place votes in the preseason since the poll began back in 1950.

This marks the eighth time that the Buckeyes have been ranked as the top team to begin the year.

The TCU Horned Frogs are ranked second, followed by the Alabama Crimson Tide at number three, the Baylor Bears at number four, and the Michigan St. Spartans at number five.

Rounding out the top ten, it's Auburn, Oregon, USC, Georgia, and Florida St. in spots 6-10, respectively.

Beginning the second ten, at 11-15, it's Notre Dame, Clemson, UCLA, LSU, and Arizona St., followed by Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

Finally, at spots 21-25, it's Stanford, Arizona, Boise St., Missouri, and Tennessee.

Mississippi St., Texas A&M, Oklahoma St., Virginia Tech, Utah, Penn St., Louisville, Cincinnati, Nebraska, Kansas St., Florida, North Carolina St., Texas, BYU, Northern Illinois, Michigan, California, Western Kentucky, West Virginia were among others also receiving votes.
