Officer Shot In New Orleans

A police officer has been shot in the 5300 block of Douglas Street in New Orleans.

WWL Radio says that's in the 9th Ward along the Mississippi.

The officer is at the hospital now, but he condition is unknown.

Police are not releasing any other information at this time.

The shooting happened at around six o'clock this morning.
