Free safety Malcolm Jenkins (knee) and tight end Jimmy Graham (ankle) missed practice again today. Coach Sean Payton said he is encouraged by the progress both players have made, and plans on both players traveling with the team. Defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove (knee) and linebacker Danny Clark (hamstring) were non-participants in practice as well.

Coach Payton claims Jenkins knee injury is to his kneecap, and no structural damage occured. When asked if he was optimistic about Jenkins injury progress, Payton responded, "Very much so. The key is paying attention to the swelling, but he's doing well; he's doing very well."

As for Graham, Payton offered slightly more optimism, saying, "The news with Jimmy has been good in that in a day and a half, he's feeling a lot better than earlier in the week there certainly was a lot more doubt. But you just pay attention to the treatment schedules and make sure as best you can that the players are off of their feet and doing all the things that they need to do in the rehab process and get ready to go."

While Payton sounds hopeful, do not expect to see either player on the field in pads on Saturday afternoon in Seattle.

The injury news was better for tight ends Jeremy Shockey and David Thomas. Both were full participants in Thursday's practice after being limited a day earlier. Wide receiver Marques Colston was a full participant for a second straight practice, and is expected to start on Saturday.
