‘Niners/Raiders Preseason Rivalry to End

In the aftermath of the violence which occurred following Saturday's preseason game at San Francisco's Candlestick Park, it's being reported the 49'ers and Raiders will no longer play their annual preseason game.

Two were seriously injured in the violence during and after Saturday's game.  One person was shot several times while another was beaten unconscious.  Both have been upgraded to fair condition.

One news source is reporting that gang unrest may have contributed to the violence.
