The latest LSWA high school football polls were released on Tuesday, and once again this week, nine teams from the Acadiana area appear in the top ten in the respective polls, as we head into the ninth week of the 2013 season.

In class 5A, undefeated Acadiana holds firm number three this week, while New Iberia is up one spot, from number then last week, to number nine this week.

St. Thomas More stays at number three this week in the 4A poll, with Teurlings Catholic down one spot, from ninth to tenth, while Breaux Bridge is among others also receiving votes.

Notre Dame, at number three, highlights the 3A poll, with Jennings and Kaplan also receiving votes.

In the class 2A poll, Loreauville the top-ranked team this week, while Catholic-New Iberia is number nine.

Finally, in the class A poll, Vermilion Catholic is second this week, with Basile coming in at number three, while Hanson and St. Edmund are among others also receiving votes.
