Louisiana right hander Nick Lee has been named a Freshman All-American by Perfect Game.

Lee, a native of Longville, was named to the second team, along with two other players from Louisiana:  Lafayette native Antoine Duplantis of LSU and Tulane's Ross Massey.

Lee was 7-1 with a 3.31 ERA for the Cajuns in 16 starts.  He allowed opponents just a .219 batting average in 87 innings of work.

Duplantis hit in the leadoff spot for the Tigers with a .327 batting average and a .404 on base percentage.  He had 89 hits on the season and stole 13 bases.

Massey was a midweek starter early in the season but became the ace of the Tulane staff with a 10-3 record and a 2.29 ERA.  He walked only 18 in more than 90 innings of work.
