The National Football League has upheld the officials' ruling that ended the controversial Monday night football game between Seattle and Green Bay.

According to the NFL, once simultaneous possession was called by the officials, there wasn't enough evidence in replay to overturn the call.  By rule, simultaneous possession is always in favor of the offense.

The league acknowledged Seattle receiver Golden Tate should have been called for offensive pass interference on the play.

The ruling gave Seattle a 14-12 win over the Packers.
