NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says a committee will get together in the off season to discuss the biggest question on the minds of all mankind:

In the NFL, what the hell is a catch?

Goodell says he wants the rule to be further clarified and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, whose "catch" in the NFL playoffs last year against Green Bay was nullified, says he needs to be on that committee.

"They need to invite me. Tell them they need to call me, so I can have my input," Bryant said.

The current rule says the player must "clearly become a runner" and, if he goes to the ground before becoming a runner, he must maintain possession through "initial contact" with the ground.  But those two terms are clearly open to interpretation.  Players, coaches and fans alike are confused and Goodell says he wants a group to get together, talk about the rule and make a recommendation to the competition committee.  He said current and former GM's would be in that number and suggested current and former players would be involved as well.

Bryant says, if that's the case, there's no one more qualified than he is.
