One of the reasons the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are picked at or near the top of the Sun Belt Conference is the fact they have a three year starter at quarterback.

NFL.com's Mike Huguenin has taken notice.

Huguenin has ranked all 128 FBS programs at the quarterback position and has the Cajuns at #17.

Huguenin cites the performance and experience of Cajuns' quarterback Terrance Broadway, who (passing and rushing) has accounted for 6,485 yards and 53 touchdowns in just two seasons.

The #17 ranking for the Cajuns was far and away the best of any school in the Sun Belt Conference.  Arkansas State was ranked #68, ULM #73, Texas State #74 and Appalachian State #77.  All other Sun Belt schools were ranked #100 or worse.

In the Southeastern Conference, only Auburn, at #14 was ranked higher than UL.  LSU checked in at #58.

Louisiana Tech was rated #104 and Tulane #112.
