Hallelujah football fans! The NFL and the locked-out officials have reached an agreement to end the lockout, and return the Ed Hochuli's of the world back to the football field. After 48 hours of non-stop negotiations, the two sides finally came to a concurrence. Bye, bye replacement officials. It was anything but fun.

The "real" refs will be back Thursday night when the Cleveland Browns travel to take on the Baltimore Ravens.

While the thought of the sports world giving a metaphorical standing ovation for referees would've seemed odd in the past, it was expected when news broke of the agreement.

The compromises came a lot from the NFL, with a few from the NFLRA.
