Starting November 9th, I will host my own show on ESPN 1420, every weekday from 6:00-7:00 pm, called "The Cheap Seats." It's kind of surreal.

I listened to ESPN 1420 as soon as I moved here as a sophomore in high school. I called in countless time to Jay, Scott, Steve and the gang on my trips from Lafayette to LSU for college. They were my travel partners over the Atchafalaya, my sports sounding board and radio psychiatrists. After pestering them at Guy's Night Out in 2013, they decided to hire me. Now I have my own show. It's the best 25th birthday present I could ever receive.

The show is called "The Cheap Seats" because that's where the hardcore fans live. The beer tastes better, the games matter more and no fair weather fans are allowed. As long as we're in the house, we're going to make noise.

I'm just happy to be in the arena, and you're damn sure going to here me when I open my mouth.

Huge thanks go to Brandon Comeaux, who is continuing on to do fantastic things with our sibling station, News Talk 96.5 KPEL FM. He passed me the torch, and I'll carry it with pride. It's an honor to see my show slot next to Scott Prather, Jay Walker, Billy, Kevin and Stevie. At my age, the blessing isn't lost on me.

Make yourself heard, each and every weekday from 6:00-7:00 pm. There's plenty of room in "The Cheap Seats" with me, so make yourself at home.
