New Orleans Saints Safety Kenny Vaccaro To Undergo Surgery

As New Orleans Saints stellar rookie safety Kenny Vaccaro limped off the field during Sunday's game against division rival Carolina Panthers, many Saints fans feared the worst. Those fears proved to be justified.

Vaccaro will have surgery on the ankle today. It's expected to take 3 to 4 months to heal.

The Saints are already short in the secondary. New Orleans lost starting cornerback Jabari Greer last month when he torn his ACL in a win over the 49ers.
