New Orleans Saints Flashback: Curse Of The New Orleans Saints

For a long time, the New Orleans Saints were the doormat of the National Football League.

The Saints began play in 1967, and didn't make their first playoff appearance until 1988, following the 1987 season.

Of course, as of late, the Saints have been one of the more successful franchises in the NFL, even winning the Super Bowl in 2010, following the 2009 season.

Before that however, the Saints, and their fans suffered a lot of heartache.

This video, filmed in 2001, goes over the struggles of the franchise early in it's existence, and the supposed cursed, which is now obviously in the rear-view mirror.
