The latest NBA Power Rankings have been released and the New Orleans Pelicans, who were ranked 16th last week, stand-pat after a week in which they went 1-2.

They started last week off strong, garnering a narrow victory over the Atlanta Hawks at home 106-105. However, the rest of the week would prove to be more of a challenge as the Pelicans fell at home to the Toronto Raptors (126-116) and then in Denver to the Nuggets (146-116).

The Nuggets loss was a complete disaster, the defense was constantly shred, and the team lost star Anthony Davis due to a concussion after colliding with Nuggets Nikola Jokic. You can rest easy though Pelican fans, Davis has since been cleared of the concussion and should be set to return to action this week.

What's on Tap?

Coming up this week for New Orleans, they'll be busy as they play four games, two at home and then two on the road.

They'll start with two tough home games, Monday night will feature the three headed monster of the OKC Thunder (7pm) and then it'll be Team Fundamentals in the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday (7pm).

The second half on the week begins on Friday as the team will head out to the desert to face the Phoenix Suns (8pm) and then up to the bay area on Saturday to take on the Golden State Warriors (7:30pm).
