NBA Talks: Seven Hours, Little Progress

Training camps for the National Basketball Association were supposed to begin on Monday.

Instead, there will be more labor talks.

Both sides will meet Monday for more negotiations after nearly seven hours of talks this weekend produced little or no progress.

The two sides were so far apart on money they decided to forego conversation on that issue and look at the salary cap issue instead.

Evidently they're pretty far apart on that, too.

The regular season is scheduled to begin on November 1st.  Neither side is optimistic that will happen.
