Nadal Outlasts Dimitrov to Reach Aussie Final

It's going to be just like old times.

Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal for a major title.

Nadal reached the championship Friday by outlasting Gregor Dimitrov of Bulgaria, 6-3, 5-7, 7-6, (3), 6-7 (4), 6-4 in a match that lasted 4 hours, 56 minutes.

Nadal fought off two break points in the eighth game, broke Dimitrov in the ninth, then ended the match on his third match point in game ten.

Nadal leads the all-time series with Federer 23-11.  He is 9-2 in Grand Slam finals against Federer with both losses coming on grass at Wimbledon.
